SpriteMaker Base [Chibi]

SpriteMaker Bases are blank canvases made for the creation of original character sprites.

This base was made on a 48x48-sized grid, meaning that it should work in the RPG Maker MV & MZ engines with minimal changes required.

You may use this asset in any game engine or creative software of your choice, but I will not be able to provide technical support if I am not familiar with that engine or software.

The Basic Pack contains:

• Walk animation (4 directions, 3 frames)

• 25 different skin tones
  • 15 natural, human-like tones
  • 10 magical, fantasy-like tones
• Closed eyes overlay
• 3 ear overlays (rounded; upward point; sideways point)
• 2 mouth overlays (neutral; smile)
• 2 nose overlays (button noses; shaded bridge)
• 2 eyebrow overlays (basic; rounded)
• 2 long lash overlays (open eyes; closed eyes)

Eye and eyebrow colors are the same for all skin tones.

Eyelashes have three variations for light, medium and dark skin tones.

The Full Pack contains:

• All of the contents in the Basic Pack

• Run animation (4 directions, 3 frames)
• Seated poses (4 directions, 3 poses, not animated)
• Jump animation is currently in progress...

All bases and overlay parts are provided as individual files in .PNG format.

Both packs also contain layered .ASE and .PSD files for easier character creation in Aseprite or Photoshop.

All files are organized into grouped sub-folders.

All purchases grants the following license rights:

• You may use the asset in commercial or non-commercial projects. These may include applications, software, videos or websites. The asset may also be included in documentation related to the project (ex. a Game Development Document).
• You may use the asset in multiple projects without purchasing additional licenses.
• You may draw over, modify, recolor, shorten, lengthen and otherwise change the asset as you see fit to create "derivative works".
• You may combine ("frankenstein"/"frankensprite") this asset with any of my other assets, as found on my storefront.

You are not allowed to:

• Use the asset or any of its derivative works in a logo or trademark.
• Use the asset or any of its derivative works to train generative AI models.
  
• Use the asset or any of its derivative works in a product that contains sexually explicit content.
  • In the case of "frankensprites" using other "SpriteMaker Base" content, this license takes precedence over other licenses which do allow sexually explicit content.
• Use, sell, share, transfer, give away, sublicense or redistribute the asset or any of its derivative works other than as part of the relevant project(s).
• Permit users of your project(s) to extract the asset or any of its derivative works in order to share or use them outside of your project.
• Combine ("frankenstein"/"frankensprite") this asset with an asset of another creator without that creator's written or licensed permission.

Credit to "Andy Paradoxic" as an artist or asset creator must be included in commercial products that use this asset or any of its derivative works. Crowdfunded projects (including but not limited to Kickstarter and Patreon) count as commercial products.

Credit is optional for non-commercial projects.
